I have pre-existing high blood pressure. I have had it since i was 18, I have been taking my medication since. Im currently 25 weeks pregnant. The past week I have notice my blood pressure readings have been 146/98 - 136-88. I told my OB during the appointment yesterday he didn’t seem concerned, and said if reach 150/100 then it’s a need to be concerned otherwise I am “okay”. He cut me off so I didn’t get to tell him, that I have been experiencing headaches. He just sort of dismissed me. I am terrified because my mother has horrible history with preeclampsia, and I’m scared I’m going to develop it as well. I am actually leaving in the next few weeks and going back to my hometown, where I will deliver with a different doctor. I want to know what are my chances of being induced early? Has anyone been induced because of these readings?
