Ok ladies I’m considering going on birth control after I have my twins but I was on the depo for 3 years and it fucked up my body pretty bad and I couldn’t get pregnant for the longest does anyone know a birth control that isn’t going to fuck with my hormones and isn’t going to make me gain weight because the depo did that and I gained like 80 pounds over 3 years because of it I wanna make sure I choose the right birth control I just don’t wanna get pregnant again right after I have my girls cause I’m really worried about having twins again lol

Following. The depo made me gain 50 pounds in 3 months. I wasnt even this big during my last pregnancy.

I have Kyleena. It’s an IUD. I like it a lot and I’m happy with it. It is hormonal though and I believe it’s the same hormone in the shot. Progestin or something but I like it. You could try the copper iud. It’s hormone free.

Following. I am wanting to get on BC also after I have my daughter. Haven't used bc in yearssss so I'm curious as well. Gonna ask my doctor next week too but it would be nice to have suggestions from ladies who have used different kinds.

i had the nexplanon, ik some women can have trouble with it but i personally love it. i had it all 3 yrs no issues & the only thing that changed was i didn't have a period the last 2 yrs. & i got pregnant about a yr after removing it but i wasn't trying.
