Hubby and I are heading to the hospital in less than a week. However, I’ve expressed to him several times that I only want immediate family there, and he is in agreement. We do not want our baby getting sick from all the children in our family, and we do not want tons of family sweeping the baby up from us as soon as he is delivered.

We want a more private birth (immediate family: our parents and grandparents) that’s it. Bottom line. How do we say this nicely?
