Are we okay doing this or no?
My daughter has hip dysplasia, we wanted a baby carrier as we like to go out walking so we bought an ergo baby carrier as they’re hip dysplasia approved.
She’s 3.5 months but fairly big at 16.5lb, in the 98th percentile and she’s had full head control for a couple of weeks now.
As far as I’m aware these carriers are inward facing up to 6 months (?) but because she couldn’t see much when we went out yesterday she got really upset and was crying a lot so for our last 10 mins back to the car we tried her forwards facing (adjusted relevant buttons etc). She was much happier was all smiles/cooing etc having a good look around.
As per pic, are we okay to hold her facing outwards or should we persevere for now with inward facing?
