FTM here. My son is just over 12 weeks old and he is exclusively breastfed. I’ve come down with a terrible cold, despite the many precautions I took to ensure we both stayed healthy.

So far my LO has shown no signs of getting sick, thank goodness. I am doing all I can to ensure he stays healthy, to include washing my hands constantly, taking Vit C and Elderberry, and sleeping with a cool mist humidifier in the room where we both sleep.

Am curious, have any of you been sick with a cold but not passed your germs onto your LO?

I am hoping that the antibodies in my breastmilk help my LO stay healthy. However, I can’t help but wonder when he will get my cold. (I keep thinking he will wake up congested AND every time I hear him sneeze, I think oh no!!!).
