Not with the car seat (no way to know if it’s been in an accident) but so far we’ve bought a crib and pack and play on Facebook. We also have toys, high chair, and a play mat from friends and family that didn’t need them anymore. 
I’d rather buy used things than create a whole bunch of more trash in the world. And we’re saving a bunch of money on top of that.

With non safety items such as clothing, shoes, small toys, books, absolutely! Why spend $15-25 for pants when I can spend $3. I got 10 onesies for $10 when I first started buying things for my daughter.

Absolutely! If I don't have to pay full price for something they'll quickly outgrow, why would I? We have so many hand me downs and a ton of secondhand stores around and we will absolutely (and graciously) take the help! Outside of a carseat, stroller and crib, we plan to get everything we can second hand!

You can go to a place called once upon a child and get a fill up bag for 10$ they do it sometimes or they have bags alrrady made for just 5 bucks. That is if you have this place where you live

I have 2 boys and I would say 80% of their items are second hand.      My second wears most of my firsts hand me downs.

I’ve been getting most things as hand me downs and used! Only thing I’m really wanting new is the car seat and the crib bedding! Everything else I don’t overly care!

Yes just clothes if they are in good condition and clean. Maybe bouncer or walker if I can find a good one second hand.

We a few baby specific consignment shops that I love going to! Our thrift stores kinda suck for baby stuff.

We got a lot of great toys from thrift shops for great prices. Got a $40 car toy for .50 cents. Just clean it up with bleach wipes and good as new.
