My mom just had surgery on her inner ear to repair hearing loss. Everything went fine and she can hear but she just has a check up with her doctor getting stitches out. She needs me to take her because she can’t drive for 10 days.

I went and told her my appointment to get my IUD got rescheduled to Thursday at 10:30 because of the winter weather crap rolling in and she was like “YOU CANT GO I HAVE TO SEE MY DOCTOR at 9!.” And I started laughing because when I took her to get her wrapping and packing taking off her ear a couple days ago I realized my Gyno’s office is next door to her ear doctor. At her appointment its just him taking stitches out and taking a look to make sure all is well. it’ll be a short visit. We will actually have time to kill between appointments. I also have a 3rd person going with us to drive because my dr told me to do that, so if for some reason I can’t drive after IUD placement like my doctor warned we’re good.

But we started laughing, and she said “got a problem with your ears and vagina? Stop down to northwest okc.” 🤣🤣🤣 lmfaooo

And bravo to my mom because this was the last surgery to repair her ears and she has recovered both times miraculously. She had broken bones in her ear replaced with titanium.
