I was in pre-term labor when I was 33 weeks exactly. They put me on Procardia and gave me two steroid shots and yesterday (34 weeks exactly) I was given permission to stop taking it if I wanted.

The thought of pre-term birth had me terrified, but not so much anymore. My body is exhausted and I’m honestly not sure if I’ll make it to a 37-40 week pregnancy. I’m a FTM!

My body and son are both just trying to get this pregnancy over with and I want him to be healthy, but my body is SO over it.

Did any other moms go through pre-term labor, take Procardia and come off of it and give birth early still?

I can’t feel my contractions when I have them so I’m not sure about when I’m in labor or not. They were shocked when I came in to the hospital and I was contracting every 2-3 minutes but feeling none of it at 33 weeks. So I’m not sure if I’ll know when I’m contracting again.
