Edit: sheriff didnt show up like they said my mom called back and there wasn't even a record of her even calling and who she talked to even had the audacity to ask my mom "what did she want them to do about it" 🙄

I wonder how idiotic some people can really be. Stopping for a school bus is a safety precaution for children and why would you risk harming a child just to get somewhere a little quicker. I used to live with my parents and lived on a highway and no one ever abided by the speed limit posted on that highway, therefore, I was never allowed to play in the front yard as a kid for safety reasons. Well if you have children that get off on that road, and or, any child getting off the bus you need to watch them carefully. My younger brother has almost gotten run over twice in one week. Once by a truck and the other yesterday by a car. He has to cross the road to get to our house and he does look before crossing my parents always taught that to us. The truck went flying around the bus and going over the yellow line and almost hitting my brother by a hair. This has been reported and they are trying to get taken care of. Now yesterday evening a car went flying around and the bus driver had to scream at them to stop and my brother had to run and jump into the ditch in front of our house out of fear of possibly getting hit AGAIN. So now good luck to whoever tries to do that again the sheriff is going to have to escort my brother off the bus this afternoon. Kids have enough to worry about why should they be in fear of going home or going to school.
