Had a hospital tour yesterday evening & invited my mom and sister along , I thought I it was fitting because my mom is my support person & I didn't want to tell my sister she couldn't come . We got to visit the labor and delivery rooms , recovery rooms & the other need to know areas . We were told that if I happen to go into labor early or just when it starts , to go straight to the "emergency room area" for the pregnant women & it's basically just triage to see if you're actually in labor, dilating etc. We also were told only 1 person is allowed back there and after , if I'm in labor , I can have more people in my actual labor and delivery room . My mom took it upon herself to say she'll be there (which was expected) and my sister will too . I told her I only want her back there at that time because I don't like a lot of people around when I'm in pain & it's my first so I don't know what to expect . My sister and I don't have the best relationship either . Her and my sister got super upset & now I haven't spoken to either of them since yesterday . Mind you we all live in the same house 🙄. My boyfriend / child's dad is living out of town at the moment (work) so the only other person there would've been him . Am I wrong for being upset & having that limit on who I want back there ?? I thought it was about my baby and his mama 😞 i felt a bit selfish at first , but now I'm like this is my day !! If I don't want somebody there , I have that right, right ??
