Hey guys! I’m 28w4d and just ordered some gentle teeth whitening strips my sister highly recommends. I got them in the mail and was excited to use them and I see the instructions say “if pregnant or lactating, do not use” 🙄😕

I’ve messaged my OB with the list of ingredients but have not heard back yet. Checking the interwebs yields about a million different results. Have any of y’all used teeth whitening strips while pregnant? Is it truly unsafe? Here are the ingredients (in order) if anyone wants to know.

PVPK30, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl cellulose, PBPK90, Auqa, Alcohol, Hydrogen Peroxide, menthol.

EDIT: I head back from my doc who said “this is very likely safe however they do not test on pregnant or nursing mothers so there is no data to support either way. I cannot give you a definitive yes or no.”
