Pan vs Bi?

Question

So my little sister (Who I love to bits) says shes is Pansexual. Great for her but like... what does that mean exactly? 
I have Googled this and I have asked her but I still don't understand 😅
Is it like 
Bi = Boys OR Girls (Depends on the day)
Pan = Boys AND/OR Girls (including people who are trans and have no gender) 
Like do Bi people hate trans and agender people?!?! 
Surely that isn't it 😅🤣

I am bisexual, I can like boys and girls. I am attracted to boys and girls. Personally, that is all. I do not find myself attracted to any other identification other than simply male or female (however i do love and support those groups). My friend is pansexual, and she has explained it to me as that she can love and be attracted to anyone, no matter their identification. Whether their a boy or non-binary or a trans girl or anything else. Anyone floats her boat.

Bi is any two genders, pan is just liking anyone, no restrictions on gender or sex organs because of their personality. 
Bisexual is generally liking guys and girls yes, but this usually includes trans people as well because they are still whatever gender they identify as, so no they do no this term does not completely disregard trans people. Some bisexuals just like people with masculine or feminine energies.
Pansexual just means you could like people who are cis female, trans female, cis male, trans male, identify with different pronouns like them/they, are gender fluid, etc..

Pan is attraction to all genders. When you’re attracted to a person, they’re gender or sex doesn’t matter. People who are Pan generally have no preference.
Bi is attracted to two genders. (Using Men and Women as an example, though that isn’t always the case) You’re attracted to women specifically, and men specifically. People who are Bi often have a gender preference.

Hi!! I'm pan, and this usually means attraction to all genders. You can have preferences between genders, like you'd rather date guys and enby people over other genders, or view gender as not necessarily a factor in your attraction to someone. But over all, every gender is up for grabs in this way.
In my understanding, bisexuality is not just attraction to guys and gals exclusively. I've met many bisexual people who are attracted to, or have dated nonbinary people. Bi people are attracted to some genders and do view gender as a factor into attraction, unlike pan peeps.
For some this does mean only men and women. For others its a bit trickier than that.
Oh and bi people are not transphobic as a whole. They generaly dont discriminate between being attracted to a trans person or a cis person.

Bisexual is usually liking people AMAB and AFAB (assigned male and female at birth). Pansexual doesn't care about the gender of who they date - gender has nothing to do with their attraction. Pansexual people would be happy to date non-binary, gender fluid, agender, etc.

The word bisexual is actually reclaimed from a diagnosis that doctors used to slap on queer people, often prior to conversion therapy. Anyone who showed attraction to multiple genders was just called bisexual.
It’s been reclaimed now, and it can mean different things.
1) People who think there are only two genders use it to mean they like boys and girls. This does not exclude trans people.
2) People who know gender is a spectrum usually use it to mean they like boys, girls, and non-binary people, but with preferences. Maybe they prefer girls/femme people, but will also date androgynous and masc people.
Pansexual is different. It’s liking boys, girls, and non-binary people without a preference. Gender isn’t a factor in who we like. It’s pretty cool, actually 😂

Omg everyone in this thread is wrong... bi means two: same gender and other genders. Not men and women. Implying bi people are only attracted to cis people is trans phobic, as if saying they aren't real men or women.

bi is like “attraction to at least two genders” so it can be boys and girls but bi people can still be attracted to nonbinary people. not all of them are, but this doesn’t mean they hate nonbinary people. this also includes trans women and men, as trans isn’t a separate gender from man and woman.
pan is generally defined as “attraction to all genders” or “attraction that’s not dependent on gender.”
although these definitions aren’t always super rigid. i’ve seen a few people who just prefer the label bi over pan even if their sexuality is closer to the definition of pan.
