I was admitted to hospital for regular contractions pain/tightening, pelvic pressure and vomiting..

I was put up to the monitor and it was clear there I was having contractions.

I was then then assessed and had no change to cervix however I was swabbed for the the fetal fibronectin test meaning I’m at high risk for labour being imminent within the next seven days.

I was then given two steroid inextiosn to help mature baby’s lungs if it did decide to come in the near the future!

I was just wondering those who got a positive result from this test when did you go into labour?

I was discharged on the basis of no charge o cervix but must come back ASAP if contractions intensify.
