The go ahead and vent here because man I need to vent and I’m sure many of you mama’s do too.

I love my best friend dearly but she is driving me nuts during this pregnancy. She just went through my registry (I used the checklist on Target) and sent me a whole list of things that I “missed” according to lists she found on Pinterest. Some of these items are ridiculous and unnecessary plus I worked so hard and long on this registry so it sucks to have her basically say it’s all wrong. THEN she texted me a link to apply for a breast pump through insurance, which I’ve already been in contact with our insurance and they said I can’t apply until 30 days before my due date, and goes “This is the pump you need to get because my other friend said it’s the best”. I replied NICELY and said “I think I’m going with the Spectra S2, I spent a few days doing some research and this one seems perfect” So she got MAD at me and said “Fine I won’t help you anymore with anything pregnancy related” Like girl chilllllll. I’m the one with the hormones😂 But she also said our nursery theme is weird and thinks I should do twinkle twinkle little stars instead of the floral that we’re doing. Not to mention she’s trying to add all of these wild activities and games to the baby shower when I’ve told her that unfortunately my family doesn’t do games at all, like at all. Maybe present bingo and measure the belly but that’s it so now she’s even more mad about that😂

Man, like I said I love and appreciate her but this girl needs to sloooow down and let me make the calls. Oofta!
