How many people on birth control want children at all?

Question

How many people who are on birth control don’t ever want children? I’m talking abortion if accidents happen, 100% not ever gonna have a child, and even a genuine dislike of children?
Just curious because I keep getting pushed to go on birth control because most doctors don’t want to sterilize a childless young woman. Its so ridiculous, I refuse to go on birth control, and I wish more people accepted some women just hate children and never want to have them!

Yeah I'm 30, they should have sterilized me at 20 when I decided I was sure I never wanted children. 
I meant it and I mean it as much or even more today.

Right now I dont want any children so I am taking precautions like patch and condoms since I dont think I'm ready or my boyfriend and we just wanna be stable before thinking about kids or anything like that in the future

I don’t want children ever and will likely get sterilized in the future, but it’s not a concern for me currently because my iud treats me well. I need to be on birth control so I don’t have to deal with my heavy ass periods monthly, so it’s not just for pregnancy prevention for me. I’d consider a bisalp or endometrial ablation in the future to treat my periods if medication no longer does the job. Even if I didn’t need birth control for my periods, I’d probably still use it because the hormones balance my system and condoms are not reliable enough to depend on solely (to me). I prefer methods that are long term and have no room for user error, hence why I got an iud. For anyone looking to get sterilized, check out the doctors list on the Reddit page r/childfree.
