Retaking GD test weeks after passing it?

So I passed my Gestational Diabetes test at 24 weeks. I'm now 33 weeks, but recently I have been incredibly thirsty (drinking 120+ ounces of water a day) I have also had some other symptoms. So my doctor ordered a second test just to make sure I don't have GD. Has anyone else had this? I haven't heard of anyone passing the first test, but developing it later. Anyone with a similar experience?

I passed the 1 hr at 28 weeks, but I had it with my last pregnancy, so I was nervous about developing it again. I checked my fasting levels periodically( that’s where my biggest problem was last time) and noticed they starting getting higher. I let my doctor know and he had me keep track 4 times a day for a week to see, and sure enough, last week I was diagnosed with GD at 35 weeks. So it is very possible to develop it later.

Has there been sugars coming back in your urine?
I've never heard of someone having to take it again after paying it but it can't hurt. I passed mine and have been good up until this last week at my 37 week appointment I had sugars in my urine sample which is a first and my dr said it could've just been something I ate but that he'll be keeping an eye on it but at this late it I doubt we're going to have to do anything about it.

Did you have any other symptoms? I've recently noticed I've been alot more thirsty than normal and I also passed my gd.

I had to take it twice only with my youngest son after they found I had polyhydramnios (too much amniotic fluid) and I passed it again

I had to take mine twice. Once at around 18 weeks and once at 28

I passed my first one and my dr had me take the 3 hour a month later due to the babies big size and some extra fluid. But I passed it again so they said he is just measuring big. I had never heard of someone taking it twice either until I had to.
