NEED OB advice

Celeste

This is cross posted, but you guys are always so responsive.

Alright. So I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I’ve been with my OB since 12 weeks. He’s always SO nice and personable and funny. He interacts with my one year old at appointments and is good at making me feel at ease. He also is highly recommended in my area, answers all my questions, talked to me about my options since I am a hemorrhage risk because of a prior placenta accreta. I asked about an elective c section and he said he’d 100% be okay with that since my vaginal delivery ended in a pp hemorrhage, d&c, and blood transfusions. I changed my mind and opted for vaginal delivery. He assured me they would have blood on hand and be ready for anything.

ANYWAY. The issue. Someone in my area on FB asked for an OB recommendation. I recommended him. Literally the only bad reviews I ever found were about his office staff, and I never had an issue with them. This girl commented and said that her delivery 9 years ago with him was so bad that she should have taken legal action. I pmed her and this is what she sent me.

This sounds INSANE. We’re in a pretty damn nice area in Cali. I’m delivering at the biggest hospital here. The hospital is good and the doctors are good. This doctor is highly recommended in the area. The only bad reviews I could find months ago were about his office staff and nothing else. I haven’t even had a bad experience with them. But at the same time I’m already close to delivery and terrified from last time and idk how to move past this. Looking for reassurance or advice.
