I went today to my 14 week appointment. I went alone which isn’t typical, usually my husband would come with. They were having trouble finding the heartbeat with the doppler so they had to do a quick ultrasound. Except as soon as she put the wand on my belly is was a perfect view of their bottom. We have 2 girls and we are hoping for a boy. However, when you’ve seen two girls on ultrasound it’s pretty obvious when you’ve seen it for the 3rd time. Me and the tech are about 95% sure we have another girl in there and she’s been doing this for 20+ years. We have a gender determination appointment next week anyway and I’m thinking I just should play dumb and not tell my husband because he will be absolutely devastated. He wanted a boy so bad. I think I’ll just let him find out at the gender ultrasound next week my only worry is he will show his ass at the appointment cause he really really wanted a son. Ughhh I’m happy either way. I’m just so disappointed for him.
