My son is almost 2 (21 months to be exact). He used to talk SO MUCH. He said 2-3 word sentences and had 20+ words by 14 months. It’s gone. All of it. He says maybe 6 words good enough to understand them. He will randomly repeat a word we say then never say it again. He repeats EVERY noise we make.

They said he has a speech delay, expressive language disorder & sensory processing issues & that he only speaks to label items. He’s losing words by the day and I don’t know what to do. He doesn’t know what “your” “my” “me” “I” “you” mean either. For example, has no clue what I am saying if I say “you take a bite” I have to say “take a bite Zane” or he will just sit there. He understands everything else people say to him.

I’m just confused. I’m not sure how to help him learn new words or learn how to pronounce words correctly. It just throws me off that he used to speak so clearly.
