So I went to my Dr. appt yesterday, and she told me I looked miserable and that my pressure is creeping. She wants to induce me 3/4, my expected due date is 3/14. I’m ready lol, the onlllllyyyyyy thing I’m concerned with is.. I’ve never been induced before. I’m already 2 centimeters dilated. I get nervous bv induction is basically forcing your body to do something it wasn’t ready to or hasn’t done on its own already. What if they give me the pitocin (makes you have forced contractions) and I can’t get to 4cm for an epidural?! Natural contractions are already bad enough but I’ve heard pitocin induced contravention are literally the worst. I have heard some women say their doctor will start the pitocin and once be contractions become

Regular they’ll order the epidural even if the patient isn’t 4 cm dilated. Any input from moms who have been induced?
