Are you ever worried to post an ultrasound because it may get stolen?

There’s times I want to post my ultrasound and a little story, but I’ve actually seen 2 posts during my 3 years of being on this app where pictures have been stolen and they’re called out. When you post do you ever think about if it gets taken and used as someone else’s?

I don’t care if someone steals my ultrasound photo. I mean what they do is their business. I wouldn’t post anything with identifying information so whatever. You want to be a dumb ass and lie to someone? Go ahead. It’s your life not mine.

It’s always freaked me out a little. Especially when people post requests for people to “post your 12w3d ultrasound of a baby girl” like why do you need it to be THAT specific. Maybe I just have trust issues. Same thing goes with bump pictures too. Why would you specifically request something like “if you’re 5’7, 150lbs, what did your bump look like at 27w2d? Post pix!” It’s just odd to me.

If someone stole a pic, how would it hurt you? I would never post a pic with name or personal info on it but a general picture of a blob... I'd say whatever. It doesn't hurt you neither the baby.

No because I take all info out and crop the picture before posting plus post anonymous. It's just a scan, not like it's the baby out of the womb....then I wouldnt post at all.

Meh, i could care less. Its an ultrasound pic. I kind of feel really bad for the women who feel the need to do this, like whats going so wrong for you that you would need to post an ultrasound pic that isnt yours and claim it is?

Someone I know had their's stolen so it makes me think twice about posting it sometimes but doesn't usually put me off. I just don't want people to be able to use my scan photo to scam people.
