I’ve always wanted my daughter to have the nickname Gigi which is why I chose Giana as her name. Me and my husband have been trying and we’re just wondering would this year not be a good time to name a girl Giana? If we have a girl? We were stuck between Giana or Gia with the nickname Gigi and he liked Giana a lot more. Then this tragedy happened (rip). I mean I wouldn’t be too offended if people thought that Kobe’s daughter was the reason we went with the name but that’s just not the reason for it. We decided on the name back in December. Should we do Giana or go with Gia? What makes it even more is the fact that our child’s cousin’s name is Ashton Bryant Jr, (after my brother), but everyone calls him (their would be cousin) Bryant.
