Any advice for irregular periods?

Question

I was put on BC a few years ago to regulate my periods and my extreme cramps, which worked for a year before it stopped helping. The cramps atm can be non-existent or excruciating depending on the day, and my period is so bizarre I honestly have 0 scheduled or warning before it arrives. The BC (Lolo) doesn't help obviously so can I get some advice from you ladies? My doctor is no help 😪🙄
