Did anyone else do a name announcement? I was going to wait until birth to announce but I’ve already told a few close people and just kinda want people to know the name is already claimed and announce it in a cute way. It’s not a name most people have, and of course a name announcement isn’t going to stop people from taking the name if they truly wanted to. (We live in a small town so it’s common for people to do it)

I’m just iffy, but wasn’t this stuck a day ago. I’m about to stop telling close people because all they say to do is wait and tell others but I think at the halfway mark is reasonable. I don’t want to wait but others say I should because someone might take it but I really don’t care, at the end of the day, I can’t stop that. I’ve had this name picked out for the longest and what if someone wants to get something along the lines of his name for a baby shower gift?
