Opks just pick up a surge happening. 
For a positive you need the test line to be darker or at least as dark as the control line, once you get this you might ovulate 12/48 hours later , this is only confirmed with bbt. Opks after this don’t show or confirm anything.

You should be temping then you will know where your at while you use opks. Opks just let you know when your about to ovulate. So if your randomly testing it won’t help you. You need to be testing regularly and 2 times a day
