Did you wear a tiny bit of makeup for C-Section

Just reading about c-sections in UK, says you can’t wear makeup but I have trichotillomania and wear at least a little eyeliner and fill in eyebrows. Can cope without foundation and anything that would make a real difference to anything

Not trying to be rude at all, but I feel like make up should literally be the last thing you’re concerned about when it comes to having a c section? Maybe that’s just me.

You cant wear make up, nail polish, etc when you get a csection, they make you remove it before you get the csection done

I had an emergency section last night, all I had to do was take out all of my jewellery. Kept my makeup on and contact lenses in 🙂

I’m in the dark on this—what’s the reasoning for making you not wear it?

I wore make up during my csection. I was never told I couldn’t wear it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had nail polish and didnt have to remove it. I think I also had a necklace on. I prob had some mascara but who knows. I heard it depends on the hospital (I am in the US though)

I put on eyeliner the day of mine and they had me wipe it off.

I never wore it but I don’t see why it matters 🤷‍♀️ i say do it!  Worse they will do is ask you to take it off before the surgery!
