Hospital baby stuff?

Question

How much baby clothes should I bring to the hospital for delivery? Onesies, socks, also should I bring diapers, pacifier.... swaddle? Anything else?

One thing I highly recommend- non-petroleum jelly. The first few bowel movements are like TAR, they are so hard to clean up. Before putting on the first diaper, and after the first few diaper changes, I always put non-petroleum jelly on baby’s bum and it makes clean up a million times easier!

Have a cute swaddle for pics and a going home outfit and a back up going home outfit in case of bad spit up or a blow out. That’s all you need! Most hospitals provide diapers and swaddles and they don’t want the newborns in anything else because they are often coming in to do testing and what not and it’s easiest if they’re undressed.

When you do your hospital tour you’ll be told what they provide...so you won’t need to bring that stuff to use while you’re there.
Our has diapers, wipes, onesies, swaddles, pacifiers....we just need to bring stuff to go home in
