So everything was going great. Tomorrows my baby shower and I've been talking about it and excited with my SIL and my cousin(who's hosting) all week. My SIL has a therapy dog. But shes very high strung and she get rowdy at random times. So my cousin politely asked me to ask her if she could not bring her, due to the fact that there will be a lot of people there. Some people who are not fond of dogs, my nephew who is terrified of dogs(hes almost 5) and my grandma who has dementia and i dont want her to have a bad reaction. And i have a cousin who has 4 kids and they are very rowdy and i dont want them to get the dog all rowdy. So i asked her if she could leave her at home. You'd think i asked her not to come. She went all, its illegal to ban therapy dogs(no where did i ban the dog) and she could sue her and that she doesnt feel like she can come now cause she cant bring her dog. And that my cousin is being a quote on quote "Drama Queen fucking idiot" im sorry but she's being disrespectful to the person who put her hard earned money and time into something she didnt have to do. Plus shes my cousin and it offended me. So now she refuses to go. And caused drama with me the day before my shower. And shes upset about it. The person who cant leave her dog home for a couple hours to go celebrate the life of her nephew. Shes not going to my shower because of a dog and shes upset...am i overreacting? Or is she?
