labor signs???

is lower back pain a sign of labor? it starts in my back and the. moves around to the front of my belly. it comes and goes. i did have sex this morning so maybe it’s just from that but i know sex can start labor sometimes? is that what this sounds like?

Yes. My contractions were mainly in my back.. no idea why since my son was not facing the wrong direction. But for a while during early labor I didn’t believe it was labor because I was only having pain in my back. Eventually it became so brutal that it became more obvious.

It can be contractions. Have you tried timing them? Are they getting worse? Have you tried resting, taking Tylenol? True labor won’t subside, it will only get worse. Good luck!
