Type 1 diabetes/31 weeks pregnant
Hi ladies! I’ve been struggling to keep my blood sugars down the last couple of weeks. My highest has been 202 and I correct it right away but I’ve been waking up with “high” fasting sugars and I seem to really spike every time I eat. I just got a CGM and new pump last week and it has made me so stressed seeing my numbers climb with the CGM. I guess I’m just wondering if anyone else with type one diabetes has any tips or tricks to keep your sugars down in these last weeks of pregnancy? I’ve changed settings in my pump and it doesn’t seem to be helping. My high risk dr has told me it’ll be harder to control my blood sugars the further along I get because of the placenta but dang, I didn’t know it’d be this hard.
