Just wanting to get your thoughts on colouring hair while pregnant?

I booked in for my appointment back in November and then found out I’m pregnant in January. Appointment is 29th of February, making me 9 weeks and 4 days.

Is it safe to have your hair coloured while pregnant?

I’m a little unsure as my last pregnancy I had it coloured at 8 weeks and at 19 weeks I went into early labour and lost my twins.. after all the tests they could not figure out why it happened.. sounds silly but this whole time I’ve wondered if it had anything to do with having my hair dyed..

Considering postponing my appointment until I’m further along, perhaps 20 weeks? Or do I wait until after the birth?

I heard someone say it’s safe after 12 weeks but I have no idea! I will also be asking my hair dresser and midwife but just wanting to hear your thoughts on this!

Especially those that do colour their hair while pregnant!

What are your thoughts on this please ladies?
