Hi ladies,

Just wondering how many pounds woman gained during pregnancy, how much had you lost by the time you discharged from the hospital and how long did it take you to lose rest of the weight.

I ask because with my son (who will be 2 in april) I had only gained 20 pounds and lost almost all of it by the time I left hospital and then the rest within weeks from breastfeeding.

Now pregnant with a daughter, I have gained over 40 pounds and counting. I’m not due until April 6th, so I assume I’ll be around 50 pound mark by then. I’m nervous it will take me forever to the lose the weight even with breastfeeding again. The weird thing is I haven’t eaten any different than prior to being pregnant or even when i had my son so I am unsure as to the weight gain. I only see the weight gain in my face and hips/butt. No where else.
