I used to like this guy who ended up liking my best friend. The guy we’ll name idiot, decided he wanted to be friends. We started talking everyday and he sent me a pic of his nephew. His nephew who we’ll name Leo, is cute but at the time I had little interest in him. The weeks go by and I post a pic on snap and Leo says I’m kinda cute and he kinda likes me. My feelings started to go up a lil bit and now Valentine’s Day is almost here. Mind you me and Leo have no contact with each other at all and it’s kinda pending on if he wants a relationship because he’s focused on basketball.

My school has this thing where we spend $3 to buy a crush soda and send it to your crush or whoever and it goes from elementary, middle school, and high school. I don’t know if I should put my energy in to this or let it go.

What should I do and how should I act on this situation? Am I wrong for liking his nephew? Should I buy him a “crush”? I also might see him on Valentine’s Day.
