When did u drink after giving birth ??

How long did all you mommas wait to drink after having your baby?? Also how do you drink when your breastfeeding ?

Had a beer in the hospital with family.

I didn’t drink until my baby was 2 months old at a Christmas market. You can drink and breastfeed, the general rule is if you can drive, you can nurse. No need to pump and dump because alcohol leaves the milk like it leaves your blood. But the amount of alcohol that gets into your milk is minuscule. Like literally close to nothing when it comes to 1-2 drinks.

You can drink whenever you want if you are breastfeeding make sure to check ur alcohol level or pump and dump if drinking a  beer or a glass of wine wait two hours then you are clear to breastfeed my experience personally every time i had a beer or wine made my baby super fussy and gassy ...

My parents brought wine to the hospital to celebrate haha so I did have prob half a glass that first night. I still drank while breastfeeding, just didn’t get drunk or anything. But 1-2 glasses of wine or beer is totally fine

This pregnancy well I gave up alcohol 3/4 years ago so I won’t ever be drinking again
