Who should be in the delivery room?

To simplify a very long story..my boyfriend of 4 years moved home (to another country) when i found out I was pregnant & refused to have an abortion. He has hardly contacted me since other than to tell me he does not want to know details of the pregnancy, doesn’t want to see ultrasounds etc. But he would like to fly back out when she is born/ perhaps for the delivery and then return to his home country.

I recently have been connecting with a male best friend from college (known each other for 5 years) there are definitely feelings there & they were there many years ago when we first met we just never really acted on them too much.timing was never right etc.

He has been SO supportive..constantly asking about me & baby..has booked flights to come visit (state to state) even offered to go to my specialist appointment with me because i have an elevated AFP level so they want to rule out spina bifida. He rubs my belly, even kisses it...says he can’t wait to meet her etc. We have discussed what being in a relationship could mean and he stands firm in saying he cares very deeply for me and would love to be given the opportunity to love my daughter as well.

So the question rises.....Do i allow my ex who is uninterested in the pregnancy & left baby and i to be in the room or do i allow my best friend/ potential love interest to be in the room? or maybe neither? I feel very anxious about who should/ shouldn’t be there...i just know i want love & support during such a vulnerable, emotional & taxing time..
