Am I overreacting?

Question

So for a couple of weeks my fiancé tone of voice is different and his actions, somedays he would sound so upset and hurt and when I ask whats wrong he will tell me "Im fine don't worry about it" so I will give him some time and if he still sounds the same I will ask again and wait a little and ask one more time and that is when shit hits the fan... and BOOM we are fighting.... 
So can someone please tell me if im overreacting because im starting to think I am

I can always tell when something is wrong with my bf. Your intuition is probably right. Something is likely bothering him that he doesnt wanna tell you.

I also think there might be something going on, but did put yes (sorry) because it seems he just wants to process/solve it himself and not talk about it. My bf does this as well (though it’s very exceptional that he acts upset). Last time it was something at work. He would get annoyed if I would keep asking what’s wrong if he made clear he doesn’t want to discuss it. I think it would be best to just let him be and care for him, though I understand it’s difficult because you want to help him!
