I was in desperate need of a job and i found one on Craigslist and went to the lady’s house and she had me fill out a job application and on it was a spot to put my SSN. Like a dumbass I wrote it down and now I’m scared that she is using my SSN.. how can I prevent her to use it and/or what do I do in this situation?! I tried finding information but all of this is confusing. I’m 20 years old so I would hate for my identity to be taken from me and ruined. PLEASE HELP. I’m scared out of my mind. I have her number, address, and the name she has given me if that at all helps. Idk what I was thinking writing it down without knowing it was a legit job 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
