Yes, you still use the facility, medical supplies and a nurse and/or doctor still provides a service. You may just be charged for labs or minimal line items as opposed to an admission charge.

i sure have , so fucking annoyed with my insurance && the provider ive been going to for the baby.  been the most expensive experience of my life .. NOT including anything ive had to actually get for baby.. like wtf .

Yep, I worked in the admissions office in a hospital for years and someone in the financial department told me that if you checked in and left before even seeing anyone you’d still be charged a bill. It’d be small but even having your name checked into the computer costs something 🙄
