My son has been rubbing his right eye on and off since Saturday. It’s not red, watering or swollen and he let me take a nice long look with a flashlight I couldn’t see a hair or anything on it. When he’s rubbing it and I ask him to stop or take his hands away he gets really really upset which leads me to think it must be itchy? If there was something in there wouldn’t it have come out by now or made his eye swollen? Debating if I should take him to the doctor or not, he seems to mostly do it when he’s not busy/distracted like while we’re reading or watching a movie, when he’s busy playing he mostly doesn’t touch it. If it was an allergy (we have a dog) would it not effect both eyes? Any drops I can try?
