Just had my 34 week apt for my second pregnancy. As the dr. Was checking how far I was measuring I was joking with her telling her that I swore this baby was going to be bigger than my first, that I just felt bigger, and that family had made some comments about my belly being bigger earlier this time around. I even had started packing my hospital bag before the apt!

She said, well actually you are measuring ahead—37 weeks. I’d like to schedule an ultrasound to check on things with baby.

I delivered my first at 37 + 5 😳

What does this typically mean when they tell you your measuring so much further ahead? Has anyone had experience with this?
