I’m terrible with confrontation 😬
So we’re about to be finishing up the adoption of our son here soon- he’s got some delays due to what happened during his gestation. Because he’s been in foster care, they’ve had him doing all sorts of appointments with specialists and this home health nurse. Although I’m grateful for their presence, I don’t feel like the extra help has been at all beneficial since he sees them usually only once a month. He’s in a special school though year round and he’s made tremendous progress there!
I just received this email from his home health nurse and I don’t know how to politely respond without sounding ungrateful. Every visit, all she does is comes in and writes in her notebook. I’ll get asked a few questions about him, we have friendly conversations about life (not about my son) and then she leaves. I honestly don’t feel like she does anything that’s beneficial towards him since she doesn’t actually work with him.
Can y’all help me figure out a way to tell her that we’re no longer interested in her help anymore? 😬
