Ugh๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

So my brother is special needs (autistic) but he is lower on the spectrum and functions and goes to work etc. I am set to take over guardianship when my mom passes. My mom is getting older but my mom has always been lazy. And she ignores me when I bring up the subject of sending my brother to driving school. He's 28 and uses the bus which is fine for now, but if he moves out here with us (we live in the country) there is NO public transportation close by....therefore we'd have to drive him everywhere. He has to work, be able to grocery shop etc.

My husband asked him the other day when he was gonna learn because he's always encouraging him and my brother replied, "mom told me it's super dangerous to drive, so I don't plan on it"

So basically my mom has talked him out of it.

How can I encourage him back into the thought of learning how to drive. We have multiple cars that he can practice on but my mom only has one and she lives 70 + miles from us.

Any advice would be helpful!
