Since the beginning of my pregnancy I have some issues with my heart rate being high. They put me on metoprolol and up to 32 weeks I’d been doing well. Suddenly I started measuring ahead so they did a growth ultrasound and found my sons kidneys were dilated so they sent us to a specialist. Since then I’ve been going down hill. He was first classified as stage 1 and we were told his kidneys would most likely fix itself. We went back for a follow up 3 weeks later and he got much worse and was a level 3. They are seeing us weekly. My heart rate and blood pressure has been high lately and I have been feeling very unwell. My blood pressure today was 144/86 with bad headaches. Last Monday they tested me for preeclampsia because I have all the symptoms. All blood work came back normal. They had me come in for the check today and I also gained 5 pounds since yesterday. Dr said I am “stable” and sent me home. I am getting concerned that I am not being heard. What do I do? My blood pressure has been 136/82 ish or 132/92 when I’ve been seen the last few weeks. Im also seeing cardiology and they say it’s pregnancy related and are hands off but my OB is saying it’s up to cardiology 🙄.
