My roommate/friend asked me to post this..

So my friend is a graduate teaching assistant at a big university and came to me today saying she got pulled into the Title 9 office asking about her relationship with her instructor/professor. They told her it was a random survey being done but they asked specific questions and knew who to ask about. How long she’s been working with him, etc. doesn’t sound like a random survey to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

She claims she’s never been out with him outside of the campus or anywhere private.

She’s wondering if it’s a good and safe idea to ask her instructor if he knows about this allegation?

I told her no, she should not approach him about it if she doesn’t have more information. Because he could do something or lose his job and teaching license.

What do you think she should do?
