I feel like my birth plan is whatever the nurses and doctors tell me to do and what’s best for the baby lol epidural all the way but that’s about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nope and I don’t want one, I’ll ask for pain relief when I want it and I know the doctors and nurses will make the right decision to help me deliver baby

Epidural ASAP. That was the only plan I had for my first and worked out great 😂 fingers crossed everything goes smoothly. My hospital already does one hour skin to skin right after delivery and delayed cord clamping

Yes I have for my first two as well. For me it’s less about what happens since you can’t predict that and more about knowing your options before you are in labour. Just looking into different pain meds or relief techniques. Preparing your mind as your body prepares for baby.

My plan every time I have a baby is to labor as long as I can, then get my epidural and a c-section is only for a last resort/medical emergency. Other than that I don't really care. No matter how carefully you plan you can't predict what is going to happen in the delivery room. 🤷‍♀️

Yes/no I’m most definitely going to need pain relief I plan on starting with the IV meds and using the tub for the first part of labor and then depending on how the iv meds work for me I may or may not get the epidural I also would like for them not to cut me with a vaginal birth unless they have to get the baby out quickly I rather tear naturally and I’ll also be doing delayed cord clamping

Since my daughter got her cord wrapped around her neck twice, my only birth plan is to at least try and have her naturally before going in for a c section. I really want to avoid the c section unless it gets too dangerous for her to be born vaginally.

I have my preferences written down, which my doctor calls a birth plan technically. I wanted to make sure the nurses/doctors know what we want without us having to remind everyone who walks in the door!
