Cervix dilating

Anyone else start to feel their cervix dilate? (I know not everyone knows the feeling but I definitely have/do in all of my pregnancies)

first pregnancy.. i have no idea.. but i feel like... when i’m having a heavy period with clots and I have the feeling to want to just “push it out of me” (it being the period blood) except I don’t have my period... I feel this pushing down feeling, I’ve had that since maybe week 24, more so now(week 30) does any of that sound like the feeling of dilating? i’ve been having braxton hicks for weeks, too. last week my cervix is closed and long. today i bled and it stopped, maybe it is opening :/ (i did talk to dr, no worries, just being put on rest now, have a check up next week)
