You need to make the decision that's right for you. I think you have brought up some very valid concerns. Only you can decide if you're willing to take those on. 
If it doesn't work with this guy, will you be able to care for the baby by yourself, with your 14 month old? But also, if it doesn't work, will you be ok knowing you terminated because of situational things that are mostly centred around him?
