I'm 17 and my parents are strict, like very strict. I'm not allowed to do anything. They check my phone, have monitoring apps, don't allow me to date, I have to turn my phone in to them at 8 pm, I'm not allowed to go anywhere besides school, work, and back home, if I want to go somewhere I have to bring a chaperone or keep them on facetime. My friends are planning a senior camping trip and my parents of course said no and I'm so close to just sneaking out every time they tell me no. I brought this up to my mom earlier, the fact that I have basically no freedom and my mom told me that if I don't like it I can just move out. I make decent money from my job and my best friend who's 18 and moved out has been wanting a roommate.. I'm considering it.
