Just wanting to hear some of your experiences please. Had my first baby 2014 and had an epidural. I remember briefly how bad the contractions got towards the end before having the epidural 😱 anyway the thing I hated about it was I was left with my catheter in all day after my baby was born in the morning, and it was so uncomfortable and started to really hurt. I had to ask a few times to have it taken out ( I was already walking about at this point) so that’s sort of put me off having one again. Anyway had a c section 2017 so I didn’t get a chance to go into labour myself as I was booked in for it, and again I remember the whole trying to walk again after and the catheter ☹️ so now I’m thinking would I be able to go threw the labor and birth without an epidural and just use gas and air 🤔 is it really as painful as they make it look on tv 😂 I would really love to just birth my baby and then not have to worry about waiting for the numbness to wear off till I can try and walk again (I hated that part 😔) can you share some of your experiences please with a med free labor would you recommend it 🤷🏻‍♀️ also as this is my 3rd baby I’m hoping the labor won’t take so long and can do most of it at home before going to the hospital just to give birth 🤞🏻
