Anybody have a birth at a birthing center?

Question

FTM and I wanted to know what was in your bag when you went? We go home 4 hours after birth as long as all goes well, but should I pack a hospital bag too just in case?

Answer

I birthed at a birthing center and only took the essentials. First outfit for baby, a diaper, car seat, clothes for me to change into after birth, a towel, flip flops, a blanket for baby, and a portable speaker for my music, adult diapers (though I left in one the center provided). 
I did not pack a hospital bag because I didn’t want it to be an “easy” back up plan. J did however make a list for my husband just in case he had to pack for us if an emergency arose.
